RPC Errors on MYX? Here’s How to Stay Connected

Hi MYXers, as you may know, MYX operates as a decentralized exchange (DEX), relying on Remote Procedure Call (RPC) URLs for all data queries and transaction submissions. While this decentralized structure is a core strength of our platform, it can lead to some challenges that you should be aware of.

Common Issues You May Encounter

  1. Slow Response Times: Occasionally, RPC URLs may respond slower than expected, causing delays in loading data on the platform. This could impact your trading experience, especially during high-volume periods.
  2. Rate Limitations: Public RPC URLs, particularly for networks like Arbitrum, can hit their rate limits due to high concurrent user requests. This may result in a 429 error (Too Many Requests), temporarily blocking your access to essential data or trading functionalities.

Solutions to Enhance Your Experience

  • Use Alternative RPC URLs: If you experience above issues with the primary RPC URL, consider switching to an alternative one.

Here’s how:

  1. Open your wallet or exchange app.
  2. Navigate to the network settings.

3. Select options like “Custom Network,” “Add Network,” or “Edit Network.”

4. Input the alternative RPC URL.

  • You can find various RPC URLs for different networks online.
  • Remember that not all RPC URLs offer the same performance. Even within the same network, some URLs may work better than others. Choose one that best suits your trading needs.
  • Regularly Monitor URL Status: Due to the dynamic nature of networks, we recommend checking resources like Chainlist regularly to ensure you’re using the most reliable RPC URL available. This will help prevent any disruptions in your trading activities.

By staying informed and taking these proactive steps, you can minimize downtime and ensure a smooth trading experience on MYX Finance.

If you encounter RPC errors, remember to switch URLs or check your connection. Thank you for being part of the MYX community, and happy trading!
